<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pigment improved in emulsifying resistance and dispersibility in the offset printing, by forming a hydrophobic film on the particle surface of an azo-lake pigment and a dye-lake pigment having relatively weak water resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the first step of treating the surface of pigment particles with an O/W emulsion of an oily coating agent containing a petroleum resin and a vegetable oil with≤130 iodine value, and the second step of further treating with the oily coating agent. The emulsifying resistance of the pigment can be improved by wetting the primary particles of the pigment and coating the particle surface with an oleophilic film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
