<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an electrophotographic image by which an electrophotographic recording sheet can have high gloss and uniform gloss in a toner image receiving layer and in an image part in a method for forming an image by a color copying machine or a color printer employing an electrophotographic method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for forming an image includes a fixing process of laminating an electrophotographic recording sheet with a toner image transferred thereto on a fixing belt, heating and pressurizing, cooling and releasing the sheet from the fixing belt. The electrophotographic recording sheet used has at least one layer of a toner image receiving layer comprising a thermoplastic resin on a supporting body comprising a cellulose pulp paper as a raw paper, and the sheet shows≤1.3% shrinkage in the CD (cross direction). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
