IRRADIATING DIRECTION CONTROL DEVICE OF VEHICULAR LAMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase accuracy and suppress the rise of cost on the irradiating direction control of a lamp according to a variation in the attitude of the vehicle by detecting a variation in the load distribution of the vehicle to switch a control line even if a vehicle height detecting means is installed on the axle part of either of the front wheels and rear wheels of the vehicle.

SOLUTION: This irradiating direction control device 1 of the vehicle lamp varying the irradiating direction of the lamp according to the attitude of the vehicle in the forwarding direction of the vehicle comprises the vehicle height detection means 2 for detecting a variation in the height of the axle part of the front wheels or rear wheels of the vehicle and a driving means 6 for facing the irradiating light of the lamp in a specified direction. The device also comprises a load distribution detection means 3 for detecting the load distribution of the vehicle according to the variation of the number of occupants and the weight of cargos on the vehicle. The detection means detects a variation in load of the vehicle according to the riding conditions and loading conditions of the vehicle, and switches the control line or the inclination or intercept of the control line corresponding to a present load state.
