PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing unit with a sensor which attains low cost and high resolution by using a resolver with high resolution and lowering its cost. SOLUTION: A stator 7 of the resolve is provided to an outer wheel 3 and a rotor 8 of the resolver 2 is provided to an inner wheel 4. The stator 7 consists of a ring shape iron core 9 and a winding 10 around the iron core 9. Facing to the stator of the inner wheel 4, an eccentric cylinder surface as the rotor 8 of the stator 2 is formed eccentrically to the other outer surface of the inner wheel 4.
