ACRYLIC FIBER HAVING EXCELLENT WEATHER RESISTANCE AND HIGH FLAME RETARDANCE AND FABRIC THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acrylic fiber having excellent weather resistance and high flame retardance and a fabric thereof. SOLUTION: The acrylic fiber is obtained by mixing 100 parts wt. of an acrylic copolymer composed of 30-70wt.% of acrylonitrile, 30-70wt.% of a halogen-containing vinyl-based monomer and 0-10wt.% of a vinyl-based monomer copolymerizable therewith with 0.1-2.0 parts wt. of a triazine-based compound and 1-50 parts wt. of at least one of metal compounds composed of an antimony compound, a tin compound, and a zinc compound.
