JOINING METHOD OF PLATE-LIKE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method for welding two or more sheet-like bodies which eliminates a welding step and positioning of plate-like bodies required for welding, avoids deleterious effect of heat generated at welding on the plate-like body and requires no post-process for removing thermal distortion. SOLUTION: The edge of an outer plate member (22) is bent into a pouch-like shape to form a hem part (33). The tip (36) of an inner plate member (24) is inserted into the hem part (33) so that the tip of the inner plate member (24) contacts the inner wall of the hem part (33).
