METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for carrying out polymerization with which physical values are determined by simulation and a polymerization tank and stirring conditions are set on the basis thereof without collecting the physical value in the polymerization tank with an actual apparatus or pilot equipment. SOLUTION: The method for producing a polymer is carried out by polymerizing an unsaturated monomer in an aqueous medium. The method is characterized by setting the polymerization tank and stirring conditions and carrying out polymerization by using a coefficient A represented by formula (1) [wherein, Vo denotes the total volume of a polymerization solution; and Sidenotes≥50 (1/s) shear rate component] determined from simulation results by fluid analysis software.
