PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide canned dried beef for emergency as an emergency food product for disaster so made as to be preservable for 5 years, and make use of the value inherent in the dried meat as a preserved food product by canning the meat and subjecting the canned meat to heat sterilization so as to overcome the problem that conventional bagged dried meat has a short preservation period. SOLUTION: The canned dried beef for emergency is kept in an aseptic condition, and obtained by cutting the dried beef into pieces of 2 centimeters square, and putting them in a can to subject the canned beef to heat-sterilization.
