A sealing element (1,1') for connecting two pipe rims (11,12) consists of a ring shaped section and a sealing section. An elastic sealing lip (5) is located at the sealing sections, and presses against the pipe rim. The sealing lips are located on opposite sides of the sealing sections. The sealing element consists of NBR, silicone, EPDM, FKM-FPM, or a mixture of these materials. |
