<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflective film which is free of cracking and unevenness and has superior contactness and spreading property and high performance, a method for manufacturing the film at a high filming speed, and an image display device using the antireflective film. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflective film has an antireflective layer formed of two or more layers on at least one surface of a base material; and a high-refractive-index layer of the layer is formed by a method of applying coating liquid in which a monomer or oligomer of metal alkoxide or its hydrolysate is dissolved and a low-refractive-index layer is formed by an atmospheric pressure plasma CVD method using nitrogen as discharge gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
