<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single CCD (charge-coupled device) color imaging element in which the reduction of detection luminance range can be suppressed while enlarging the detection color range. <P>SOLUTION: In the color imaging element (11), pixel blocks B consisting of a first pixel (Pr) for detecting red light, a second pixel (Pg1) for detecting green light, a third pixel (Pb) for detecting blue light, and a fourth pixel (Pg2) for detecting a light having a wavelength between green light and blue light or between green light and red light are arranged in an array.
