PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data receiving apparatus in which an information main body to be provided added with control information is added to provision information to perform control such as utilization promotion of the provision information. SOLUTION: In a transmission/reception system for providing multimedia digital information including videos, images, sound and the like to a user by using a communication broadcast means, the data receiving apparatus is connected to a network to receive an information unit composed of the information main body provided by the communication broadcast means and attached data. Thus, in information of data transmitted from an information provider via a communication connection part, contents of the attached data are checked by a utilization management part, an instruction is sent to an information utilization part according to the attached data, and the information is utilized.
