PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stripper for a single core optical fiber cord capable of removing the outer layer of the single core optical fiber cord simply in a correct length. SOLUTION: In this stripper, holding grooves 30 each of which holds a single core optical fiber cord 10 where the single core wire 11 of an optical fiber is coated, cutter blades 31 each of which is attached to the inner periphery of the holding groove 30 with an amount of protrusion capable of cutting the sheath layer 14 of the single core optical fiber cord 10, a pressing part 40 which presses the optical fiber cord 10 held in the holding grooves 30 to the side of the cutter blades 31, and a measurement part 50 with which the terminal length L1 of cutting positions 15 of the sheath layers 14 can be decided when cutting the layers 14 with the cutting blades 31 are provided in a frame 20.
