PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery control device for excavated sediment for heightening the transport efficiency of sludge by forming pug, and preventing clogging of a sludge pipe by grasping its sign. SOLUTION: This delivery control device for excavated sediment includes: a flow meter 32 provided in an intake pipe 24 connecting a receiver tank 22 and a vacuum pump 26; a valve for sludge provided on one end side of the sludge pipe 14; and an air introduction valve 20 provided in the sludge pipe 14 through an air introduction pipe 28. The sludge valve 16 and the air introduction valve 20 are alternately opened and closed according to designated conditions to deliver the sludge in a sludge tank 12 like plug, and when a sign of clogging is decided, the above opening and closing control is temporarily suspended, the sludge valve 16 is closed, and the air introduction valve 20 is opened. At the point of time when the amount of time when the output of the flow meter 32 exceeds a designated value (Q<SB>A2</SB>) exceeds a designated value, the sign of clogging is determined to be eliminated, and return to the above opening and closing control occurs.
