MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF RUBBER-REINFORCED RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of a rubber-reinforced resin that gives a molding having a good carbonizing property and a high impact strength and causing little thermal discoloration on molding. SOLUTION: The manufacturing process of the rubber-reinforced resin includes a step in which a rubber-reinforced resin latex is coagulated by adding an alkaline earth metal salt to the latex and a step in which the obtained coagulated material is washed with water having a pH of≤7 and containing an organic salt in the process to manufacture a rubber-reinforced resin from a rubber-reinforced resin latex obtained by emulsion-polymerizing the mixture of a vinyl aromatic monomer and a monomer copolymerizable with it using a polymerization initiator.
