PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink which is high in efficiency of heat radiation, by machining each radiating fin to enhance the efficiency of heat radiation and eliminating junction defects between each radiation fin and a substrate. SOLUTION: The heat sink is formed, by arranging and bonding a plurality of radiating fins composed of thin-plate members at a prescribed interval, and each radiation fin is machined, to enhance the efficiency of heat radiation. Each radiation fin is provided, at its one or both inner ends, with a spacer bar member which prescribes the intervals between adjacent radiating fins and constitutes a substrate, after being bonded. The radiating face of each radiation fin is preferably effectively subjected to be selected from among drilling, bulging or off-set processing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
