PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device easy to assemble and excellent in operation reliability. SOLUTION: The switch device comprises a cover 1 and a case 2 constructing a cabinet, an external connection terminal 3 arranged in the cover 1, a circuit board 8 on which, a required circuit pattern including four sets of fixed contacts 4, 5, 6, 7 is formed, an LED 9 mounted on the circuit board 8, a click rubber 10 covering the upper surface of the circuit board 8, two cams 11, 12 jointed to the click rubber 10, and an operation knob 13 rocking movement freely held on the case 2. The cam 11 is put on hollow convex parts 22, 23, and convex parts 11d, 11e formed at the lower surface of the cam 11 are compulsorily fitted into convex parts 22e, 23e arranged on the summit surface of the convex pares 22, 23, and the cam 12 is put on hollow convex parts 24, 25, and convex parts 12d, 12e formed at the lower surface of the cam 12 are compulsorily fitted into convex parts 24e, 25e arranged on its summit surface of the hollow convex parts 24, 25.
