PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a bar-like cosmetic, by which the bar-like cosmetic exhibiting a sufficient pearl appearance and not developing coating touch deterioration caused by a pearl agent can simply be molded. SOLUTION: This method for molding the lip stick 10, comprising charging a flowable lip stick bulk 11 into a molding capsule 12, is characterized by having the first process of adhering the pearl agent to the inside of the capsule 12, the second process of charging and solidifying the lip stick bulk 11 into the pearl agent-adhered capsule 12, and the third process of demolding from the capsule 12 the lip stick 10 in which the pearl agent 2 is embedded in the surface layer portion of the solidified lip stick bulk 11.
