PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer mirror that has a constitution for removing water drop adhered to a side window, does not decrease strength of a mirror base, is not restricted in design, and can be applied to a popular vehicle. SOLUTION: The outer mirror comprises a mirror base 10 projected from the side surface of a car body A of the automobile toward its side part, a mirror housing 20 having a mirror 23b for visually recognizing the back part and suspended by the mirror base 10 with a clearance S between it and the car body A, and a spoiler 30 for removing the water drop adhered to the side window SW.
