SOLUTION: The windshield glass 20 is furnished with a mounting part 42 at the end across the vehicle width of its body part 40 in such a way as bent outward aslant to the rear of the vehicle, wherein the outer end 42A across the vehicle width of the mounting part 42 is fixed by adhesive 44 to a mounting wall part 28F of a pillar outer panel 28. As a result, a space 46 is formed between the front wall part 28C of the pillar outer panel 28 and the windshield glass 20, which increases the deformation stroke of the windshield glass 20 when a load equal to or exceeding the specified value is applied to the windshield glass 20 from above aslant approximately from ahead.
