PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for mixing two or more granular substances quickly with a simple constitution so that the granular substances are not distributed unevenly. SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for mixing granular substances is composed of: a hollow cylindrical outer body 18 having a first granular substance-charging port 12 and a second granular substance-charging port 13 on a ceiling 14 and further having a discharge chute-arranged accumulation part 16 on the bottom end 17; and a feeder 19 arranged below the port 13 in the body 18 for feeding sideways the granular substance (B) falling from the port 13. Two or more granular substances ((A)+(B)) are mixed while they are flowing down and accumulated in the part 16 by merging one or more granular substances (B) which are charged from the port 13 and fed sideways through the feeder 19 into a stream of one or more remaining granular substances (A) which are charged from the port 12 and falling toward the part 16.
