THERAPEUTIC FORMULATIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF BETA-AMYLOID RELATED DISEASES

The method is used for preventing or treating an amyloid-.beta. related disease in a subject. The method comprises administering to a subject in nee d thereof an effective amount of a first agent that prevents or treats amyloid - .beta. related disease, and a second agent that is (i) a peptide or peptidomimetic that modulates amyloid-.beta. fibril formulation or induces a prophylactic or therapeutic immune response against amyloid-.beta. fibril formulation, or (ii) an immune system modulator that prevents or inhibits amyloid-.beta. fibril formulation.
