<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation method and an image formation system which can raise user's operability, shorten transfer time of an image data, and reduce operation cost. <P>SOLUTION: In an image data transfer between a system having a personal computer and a facsimile 103 and a system being connected to the system with public line and having a facsimile 104 and copying machines 108-110 connected with LAN, the facsimile 103 and 104 are connected using the public line, an output destination of the image data generated with the personal computer is designated, the designated copying machine following the designation automatically selects a processable page-description language, and the image data is generated based on the selected page-description language and transferred to a designated copying machine. In addition, the connection of the public line may be disconnected/reestablished according to load status of the LAN and the line connection may be disconnected after the image data has been transferred only to the copying machine which can process an optimum page-description language selected based on each function of the copying machines 108-110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
