<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for inkjet recording affording clear color development, broad color range, high optical density of the black part, and satisfactory feathering, while securing light resistance of color ink, free from blurring at the border between color and black, and short drying time, to provide a method and an apparatus for inkjet recording using the ink set. <P>SOLUTION: This ink set for inkjet recording comprises black ink and color ink including at least cyan ink, magenta ink and yellow ink, wherein coloring matter of the black ink is a pigment, and at least one kind of the color ink has a pigment as the coloring matter and at least another kind of the color ink has a dye as the coloring matter.
