<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly select a frequency of high sensitivity to be received, and to make time correction thereby, in a time data receiver capable of receiving radio waves of a plurality of frequencies. <P>SOLUTION: This time data receiver 1 receives at first the radio wave of the frequency succeeding in the last time, and detects total number (noise number) of noises included in a received time code. A time is corrected based on the time code when the detected noise number is less than a prescribed upper upper limit noise number x. The received frequency number is switched to conduct the similar processing when the detected noise number is the prescribed upper limit noise number x or more. Alternatively, total number of noise bits (noise bit number) included with the noise is detected instead of the noise number, and the noise bit number is compared with an upper limit noise bit number y to switch the received frequency number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
