<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the output voltage of a power converter from being saturated without increasing processing time necessary for induction motor control, in controlling equipment of an induction motor which performs speed control of the induction motor by vector control of the power converter. <P>SOLUTION: Before control operation of the induction motor 8 by the vector control, a voltage ratio constant K is calculated by a voltage ratio computing unit 17 which constant is determined according to a ratio of the maximum output voltage V<SB>MAX</SB>of an inverter 15 to an induction motor rated voltage V<SB>rate</SB>. Weakening excitation controlling range in a magnetic flux directive converter 3 for generating magnetic flux command value Φ* is expanded and set. In the case of actual vector control, the command value Φ* is reduced and the output voltage of the inverter 15 is prevented from being saturated, when the speed of the induction motor 8 at least exceeds the vicinity of the rated speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
