<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively form a comparatively large clearance around an inner pipe of a socket part to prevent a problem on the breakage of a fiber mortar layer of the socket part of the fireproof two-layered pipe joint in piping work. <P>SOLUTION: In this fireproof two-layered pipe joint having a constitution that an outer periphery of the synthetic resin inner pipe 4 having two or more cylindrical socket parts 3 for inserting a pipe 2 is covered by the fiber mortar layer 5, a paper sheet 6 having the water absorbing property is placed between a peripheral face of the inner pipe of the socket part and the fiber mortar layer, and the clearance 7 for absorbing the projecting deformation of the inner pipe is formed by the expansion of the paper sheet caused by the absorption of water from the fiber mortar layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
