<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize effective control functions between a VS-VD in the same exchanger and functions of the associated dynamic shaping relating to a technology for avoiding network congestion based on feedback control, in an ABR service. <P>SOLUTION: An uplink control loop 111 for the ABR connection is formed between a transmitting terminal 101 (A) and a VD-L unit 105. A downlink control loop 112 for the ABR connection is formed between a receiving terminal 101 (B) and a VS-L unit 106. An intra-switch control loop 113 for the ABR connection is formed between an upstream side VS-I107 and a downstream side VD-I108, via a switch section 114. These three control loops are mutually linked. Accordingly, the control loop for ABR connections is segmented into a plurality of loops for better responsiveness of ABR connection feedback control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
