<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press fit connector, and a manufacturing method thereof, which is of low cost and small, and capable of improving reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal 20 of a press fit connector 1 is so bent that the protrusion direction on the base end side of the terminal 20 extending from a housing 10 orthogonally crosses with an axial center direction CL1 of a contact part 22 which is provided on the tip side of the terminal 20 and can be press-fitted in a through hole 32 of a printed board 30 under pressurization with a pressurizing tool 40.
