<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic charging device of an automatic-traveling cleaner, capable of charging the automatic-traveling cleaner that is designed to avoid obstacles by itself, resulting, in approaching a battery charger more quickly, and to provide its method. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic charging device of an automatic-traveling cleaner comprises a charger 110, having a power supply terminal 111, a contact sensor 120 mounted on an automatic-traveling cleaner 30 so as to come into contact with the power supply terminal 111, a charging terminal 130, mounted slidably on the automatic-travelling cleaner 30 so as to selectively come into contact with the power supply terminal 111, and a charging terminal drive means for causing it to selectively pull out and pull in the charging terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
