PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner capable of preventing frost formation without degrading the heating efficiency, and preventing liquid compression of refrigerant. SOLUTION: In the air-conditioner, when the temperature detected by a temperature detector 20 disposed on a refrigerant pipe at an inlet of an outdoor heat exchanger 5 is dropped, and becomes higher than the defrosting start temperature of the outdoor heat exchanger, a control valve 9 provided on a refrigerant pipe 19 is opened to allow high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant discharged from a compressor 1 to flow into a water heat exchanger 7, and the refrigerant which flows from an indoor heat exchanger 3 and flows into a decompression means 4 is heated to raise the temperature of the refrigerant flowing into the outdoor heat exchanger.
