PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery with a state judging device in which the state judging device does not become obstructive at the use of the storage battery, and connection against the storage battery of the state judging device can be carried out easily and efficiently. SOLUTION: A recess 3 is formed in a cap 1 of the storage battery, the state judging device B is housed in a state that its upper face is not protruded from its cap surface in this recess 3, and this state judging device B is made to be conducted to a bushing terminal 20 installed at the cap 1 via a conductor 25. The bushing terminal 20 has a bushing part 22 and the conductor 25 in integration, and the bushing part 22 and the conductor 25 are integrally cast into the cap 1. The conductor 25 is extended from axial direction intermediate part of the bushing part 22 to its sideward and is inflected in a crank state up and down, its extended end part is protruded and exposed in the recess 3, and a terminal part 5 of the state judging device B housed in the recess 3 is connected to this exposed part.
