PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply appropriate data processing to a piping design drawing when excess or deficiency is found between the designed length of piping on the piping design drawing and the length of an interval for piping obtained by actual on-site measurement. SOLUTION: The system for preparing the pipe line drawing has a data processing means by which the data processing is applied to the pipe line drawing in accordance with the value of the excess or deficiencyα' found between the length L1 of a linear piping interval and length on a linear piping section drawing in preparing the linear piping section drawing 1a for the linear piping interval over one specially shaped pipe drawing 2 and another specially shaped pipe drawing 2 in the pipe line drawing formed by joining, on the drawing, the plurality of linear piping section drawings to the plurality of specially shaped pipe drawings 2.The data processing is applied to the pipe line drawing by the data processing means, thereby preparing the linear piping section drawing for the linear piping interval just enough.
