PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer belt member where the defects of a rubber belt such as bleeding, resistance change due to water absorption and slippage, etc., are effectively improved without damaging the characteristics of the rubber belt which is excellent in transferability and transfer/carrying ability. SOLUTION: The transfer belt is constituted of a belt base material 1 formed of conductive rubber and a coating layer 2 formed on the surface of the belt base material 1, the coating layer 2 is constituted of a water-repellent layer 2b positioned on the belt base material 1 side and a sliding layer 2a arranged on the water-repellent layer 2b.
