DEFLECTION YOKE DEVICE, DISPLAY AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke device for correcting Y-axis horizontal direction miss-convergence YH to practically sufficient level with a simple structure, and to provide a display with improved image quality by using the deflection yoke device and its control method. SOLUTION: A YH coil 14a located in an upper part of a screen and a YH coil 15a located in a lower part of the screen are connected to correct the Y-axis horizontal direction miss-convergence YH to a vertical deflection coil 13. The diameter of a winding conductor of the YH coil 14a is set larger than that of a winding conductor of the YH coil 15a, and the number of turns of the YH coil 14a is set smaller than that of the YH coil 15a.
