PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-power-line coupler capable of being easily fitted to power lines without causing a power failure. SOLUTION: The inter-power-line coupler is provided with: conduction parts 2 each being placed to an outer circumference of each of the power lines 10 each having an insulation layer 12 at an outer circumference of a conductor 11 and capacitively coupled to the conductor 11; and a connection part 3 for electrically interconnecting the conductor parts 2 each deposited at the outer circumference of each power line 10. The conductor 11 of each power line 10 and each conductor part 2 are capacitively coupled by placing the conductor part 2 to the outer circumference of each power line 10, and further, the conductors 11 of the power lines 10 are also capacitively coupled by connecting the conductor parts 2 by the connection part 3. Since the coupler 1 disclosed herein is not in contact with and fitted to the conductor 11 of each power line 10 but can contactlessly be fitted to each conductor 11, the coupler 1 can easily be installed without causing a power failure. Moreover, the coupler 1 disclosed herein provides a low impedance at the coupled part so as to attain output / input of a high frequency signal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
