PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal input device capable of solving problems of complicating waveform shaping and noise removal circuits and low accuracy in a wide rotational range, avoiding enlargement of a hardware scale, and capable of realizing high crank angle reference position detection accuracy by eliminating effects of a filter delay. SOLUTION: This signal input device comprises a sensor with a magnetic detection element which detects at least an angular position or rotational speed; a comparator for determining the level of a sensor; a reference level generator for generating a reference level signal of the comparator; and a means for individually setting the filter delay time of a rise/down in an output signal of the comparator by providing a filter circuit for eliminating a noise component of the output signal of the comparator.
