LOCATION INFORMATION NOTIFYING SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

A location information notifying system wherein communication terminals can mutually request for acquisition of and transmit current location information. A communication terminal capable of calculating its current location to transmit current location information at predetermined timings even without any user's operations. When a communication terminal requests for acquiring the current location information of a GPS communication terminal, the request is transmitted to the GPS communication terminal, which then calculates its current location based on electric waves from a GPS satellite and transmit the current location information to the communication terminal. The GPS communication terminal (103) comprises a current location information calculating part (203) for calculating the current location of the GPS communication terminal (103) from electric waves received by a GPS antenna (201) when a first condition is satisfied; a radio communication part (207) for transmitting the current location information in a predetermined format from a radio communication antenna (205) when a second condition is satisfied; a storing part (209) for storing the first and second conditions, the current location information and the like; and a control part (211) for determining whether any conditions are satisfied and for converting the current location information into the predetermined format.
