RADIO BASE STATION INSTRUMENT AND DATA TRANSFER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station instrument and a data transfer method which are capable of improving a mobile communication system in data transfer throughput.

SOLUTION: A control round-trip propagation delay timing unit 111 measures a control round-trip propagation delay time from a time at which a transfer start permission message is sent out from a transmitter 116 to a time at which a receiver 117 starts to receive data from a radio network control apparatus 102. A data transfer rate measuring unit 113 measures the transfer rate of downward data transferred from the radio base station instrument 103 to a mobile terminal device 104. A data transfer condition setting unit 114 sets data transfer control conditions for controlling the transfer volume of data transferred from the radio network control apparatus 102 on the basis of the control round-trip propagation delay time and the downward data transfer rate.
