摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical multiplexing/demultiplexing circuit having equal wavelength spaces with a passband placed on a grid of a wavelength axis, and an optical multiplexing/demultiplexing circuit allowing setting of either of the optical frequency intervals and central optical frequency at an optional value. SOLUTION: This optical multiplexing/demultiplexing circuit comprises two phase developing optical connectors 111, 112 of two-input, two-output, anoptical delay line part 107 consisting of two optical waveguides held by the two optical connectors 111, 112, and two input/output optical waveguides 101, 102 and 103, 104 connecting to the optical connectors 111, 112. The circuit is provided with a function (phase generating function) correcting displacement of the wave intervals so that a transmittance characteristic becomes roughly equal periods on the wavelength axis. This function, for example, can be realized by composing one of or both of the connectors 111, 112 so that the output phase difference have dependency on the wavelength in the passband of the optical multiplexing/demultiplexing circuit.
