PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepaid ball-lending machine between game tables that can be installed even in a narrow game island and has a money receiving function with a small depth. SOLUTION: The ball-lending machine 6 has an inter-game table machine case 11, a bill identification unit 12 mounted thereon, a cassette safe 13 and a control unit 14 and a card storage unit 15. The bill identification unit 12 has a bill insertion opening 21 into which a bill P can be inserted from the long side edge thereof in the width direction while vertically held in a front panel 12a. A bill P inserted is horizontally transported along a horizontal transport route portion 28a and its authenticity and designation are discerned. A true bill is vertically transported downward by a vertical transport route portion 28b and stored in the cassette safe 13 located in the lower side. The depth L of the ball-lending machine 6 may be decided on the basis of the width of the bill P. The ball-lending machine 6 with a small depth can be realized.
