PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallized film capacitor in which humidity resistance under high temperature and high humidity is excellent and long-term reliability is improved. SOLUTION: In the metallized film capacitor, a metallized film is successively wound while overlapping a metal-deposited metallized film and a metal non-deposited insulated film on both sides of a metallized film or an insulated film overlapping two metal-deposited metallized films on one side of an insulated film, and a protective film that has a metal-deposited portion and a metal non-deposited portion around its outer peripheral portion and of which at least both terminal portions in the direction of width are metal-deposited portions, is wound.
