PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spark plug having a good design nature using multiple colors, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The spark plug 1 comprises an insulator body 2 and a main body metal fitting 3 that surrounds a part of this axial direction. In this spark plug 1, multiple colors of ink IN1 or the like is coated and baked on a part of the surface of the exposure part 25 that is exposed from the main body metal fitting 3 out of the insulator body 2, respectively by screen printing.
