PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector facilitating fitting and firmly holding a completely fitting state. SOLUTION: The connector 1 comprises a plug connector housing 10 and a receptacle connector housing 20, bands 31, 32 are installed in a fitting body part 11, and locking parts 41, 42 are installed in the fitting body part 11. When the connector housings 10, 20 are fit, the bands 31, 32 passed through band passing holes 41a, 42a of the locking parts 41, 42 are stretched, and the fitting body part 11 is completely fit to the fitting part 21. The locking parts 41, 42 are locked so that the bands 31, 32 do not move in the opposite direction to the insertion direction. The connector housings 10, 20 are easily completely fit by simple operation only stretching the bands 31, 32, and a fitting state of the fitting body part 11 and the fitting part 21 is held by locking the bands 31, 32 in the locking parts 41, 42.
