PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning machine brush which can reduce the load of brush rotation and save energy by zoning a brush hair into a portion to have contact with a floor and a portion not to have contact with a floor, and decreasing in a dimension of the brush hair to have contact with the floor. SOLUTION: The cleaning machine brush comprises a rotating shaft 62 which is rotatively pivoted on the lower side surface of a cleaning machine body 2, a brush hub 64 which is fixed on the rotating shaft 62, and a brush hair 66 which is placed on an outside perimeter surface of the brush hub 64 and sweeps and collects dust and waste on the floor. The brush hair 66 includes a first row 68 which is divided into a first hair section 72 not to have contact with the floor and a second hair section 74 to have contact with the floor, and two or more second rows 70 which comprises a first hair section 76 to have contact with the floor facing adjacent to the first hair section 72 of the first row 68 and a second hair section 78 not to have contact with the floor facing adjacent to the second hair section 74 of the first row 68.
