PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a motor that widely secures a coil winding space, is prevented from being thick in tooth, improved in motor performance and reduced in size. SOLUTION: The stator of the motor is configured such that stator divided bodies 1, each of which is divided in the circumferential direction at a pole tooth unit and wound with a winding at a stator piece 2 that is formed by laminating electromagnetic steel plates, are joined and fixed in the prescribed number of annular pieces. In the stator of the motor, an insulator 3 formed of a high-resistivity soft magnetic body is arranged at an outermost layer of a region where the stator piece 1 is at least wound with the winding. By this configuration, insulation between a coil and the laminated electromagnetic steel plates is secured, and magnetic flux also flows to the insulator 3, thus allowing a tooth width to be narrowed by the amount of the flow of the flux, and enabling the coil winding space to be widely secured.
