PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life oil holding sheet for oil application and cleaning roll which has nearly the same cleaning performance as the conventional oil holding sheet for oil application and cleaning roll made of a fiber-integrated material such as nonwoven fabric consisting principally of organic fiber materials such as pulp, polyamide, polyester, and cellulose and can be increased in holding amount of a release oil. SOLUTION: The sheet is characterized by being composed of a sheet having a≥90% void rate and being formed by binding with an organic binder an inorganic fiber material consisting principally of inorganic short fiber with 0.2 to 1μm small mean fiber diameter, inorganic short fiber with 1 to 6μm large mean fiber diameter, and inorganic long fiber with 4 to 10μm mean fiber diameter.
