PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly control elevation of a vehicle body upper face drying device that is constituted by integrally assembling a blower and a blower driving motor with an upper face drying nozzle, in a vehicle body cleaning device always along a vehicle body upper face shape. SOLUTION: A blower 15 for blowing air to an upper face drying nozzle 14 and an electric motor for driving the blower 15 are integrally attached to the upper face drying nozzle 14 for blowing air on an upper face of the vehicle body, so as to constitute a vehicle body upper face drying device 12. A self-starting type permanent magnet synchronous electric motor is used for the blower driving motor. The vehicle body upper face drying device 12 is elevated along a vehicle body upper face shape by an elevating motor 11 controlled in response to detection signals from a photoelectric switch 19 detecting the vehicle body upper face.
