PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric lock decreasing power consumption and excellent in external force resistance in the case that an external force going to put back a bar is applied. SOLUTION: The electric lock 1 is equipped with a motor 2, the linearly moving bar 3 and a driving transfer mechanism 4 laid between the motor 2 and the bar 3, the driving transfer mechanism 4 comprises an intermediate gear 10 with a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the bar 3 as a rotary shaft and a rotational mechanism 31 equipped with a follower gear 12, a drive wheel 13, a drive cam 16 and a bar driving cam 17, and the rotational mechanism 31 is so constituted that it is equipped with a driving force amplification mechanism 32 for amplifying the driving force of the motor 2 and the rotary shaft 15 is located on a virtual straight line 14.
