HV installation contains DC generator (1) and capacitor battery (3), connectable by circuit breaker (4a), whose one side, at least, is carried by DC generator. Preferably circuit breaker includes movable contact (5a), carried by DC generator. Typically rod-shaped contact is used and is displaceable along its longitudinal axis. Rod-shaped contact may be movable through toroidal first screening ring (13), while fixed contact may be screened by second toroidal ring (14). Circuit breaker may be driven pneumatically.
